Learning Log 6

We are almost done! full of A term full of memories,  a term full of activities. I think, this would be the last learning log that I need to make for my DNETCOM class. 

After making the project, I thought the term is over and we will only wait until the final examination date but I was wrong. After our group final presentation, we are again in the same scenario, routing,configuring networks. The discussion look good but I find a hard time understanding the lesson.  But I am sue that i gained a lot in the course.

Since the end is fast approaching, I would like to say that I enjoyed a lot in the class!

Learning Log 5

This blog post should have been made last week but due to a busy schedule I forgot to write about what happened a week ago. 

Last week, we presented our final project. My group decided that we should finish early so that we would gain the plus 20 in the final exam. In that presentation, we are assigned to show what NetworkMiner is capable of doing as a network  analyzer. 

A lot of things need to be accomplish. I was lucky to have my group mates because they are very good in doing the project. by means of group work and putting efforts together we were able to do the final project. 

Learning Log 4

After a busy midterms because of the research defense. we were able to have a break. For the past two weeks, we were able to learn about packet sniffing. For the first time this term. Wire shark was introduced to our class. At first, our group find a hard time to configure what is needed to be done. But because of teamwork, we were able to finish the task. It was a happy week for all of us.

LEARNING LOG #3

A much more busy week for the DNETCOM class. A week before the midterms week. Every group needs to submit a research. That is the project for the midterms. And also that is the reason why everybody is so stressed in this very moment.

Our group needs to finish the proposal, the final paper, and the presentation for us to pass this subject. We are done with the papers. Just the presentation, and I hope that we all have a good presentation next week to get a high grade.

Learning Log 2

Time passed by, and now we are on the fourth week of our DNETCOM class. From the 3rd week until the fourth week,  I find our class more difficult but more exciting. The topics are more complex but I am happy that I can cope up with the lessons. 

But I find a hard time to memorize the things that needs to be remembered when configuring a network. That only proves that I need to study my lessons very well everyday. 

P.S. I am sorry Sir Justin Pineda because this learning log is already late :).  

Learning Log(DNETCOM)

As far as the first two weeks is concerned, I found our class exciting. Exciting because before entering the subject I have no knowledge when it comes to networks. I realized that I need to focus on every detail of the discussion.

For me, this DNETCOM class will be good training for our class since we are almost Computer Science major students, we will need the knowledge that DNETCOM and our professor will give to us. A good subject that looks very complicated because of the terms and their complicated meanings. But I know after the term I will be able to understand all of those with the help of my professor.

However, since there are new terms that I heard for the first time I hope the terms would be explained and elaborate even more. There are times that the topics were discussed and explained beautifully but there are cases especially on some complicated new terms that seems to lack elaboration. I hope that as the weeks go by and the topics became more difficult, the explanation to those topics would be elaborated for better understanding.

But I admire the approachable thing of the professor to our class. It is easy to ask questions and elaborate things especially when having exercises. Overall, it is a good way to start a term between myself and DNETCOM.
